What do I get after a scanning or digitization project?
Everything! We'll give you a copy of the scans on your computer that same day if we can. We'll also help you upload the media to your preferred cloud provider or our own secure backup solution.
All media is searchable by person, place, or thing within your own photo app.
Download, share, and even add your own media from your phone and computer.
How many photos will we get through in a day?
That depends on what you need most during our time together. We can help you find and sort through your photos, but it will go faster if you've prepared a stack to work on. Regardless, be prepared to talk about the photos as you go and if you wish, tell stories about what was happening or what it means to you.
Can you restore media that are discolored, faded, or damaged?
The honest answer is "sometimes". We've had great success removing scratches, tape, and other blemishes. Discoloration can be difficult, but modern technology has made this easier than it used to be. Your best bet is to ask and we will scan it and see what we can do.

What do I do with the original media after scanning?
That is entirely up to you. It's generally a good idea to keep the originals as a backup, but we are happy to make suggestions whether you're organizing or downsizing.
I want them
Use envelopes or boxes with labels to organize them by year, event, etc.
Frame and display them.
Set them aside for crafts.
I don't want them
Gift to family who might want them.
Donate to a museum or craft store.
Throw away any you don't want.
We can take them away for you.
Is my media safe and secure in the cloud?
No solution is perfect all the time, but we follow industry standards to ensure you always have a backup plan whether you use Apple iCloud, Google Drive, or something else entirely. Experts like David say you should have three copies of your media and one of them should be stored in a different physical location.For some of you that may look like these three:

If your original media was shot on your phone and is already in the cloud then you just need to have a backup on your computer or hard drive.We can help create a backup plan for you and suggest software to make it easier.
